HOLLAND AMERICA LINE / AFAR.COM
Serving as both an editor and content creator for the Holland America World Destination Guide for AFAR.com, I created online branded content that inspires travelers with unique guides to ports around the world. The guide won the coveted Gold Magellan Award, presented by Travel Weekly, in 2016. The project is ongoing.
CHASE / AFAR.COM
As a travel expert, I was hired to produce lively and engaging online travel guides written in the AFAR style—with a focus on experiential, enriching travel that celebrates local values and businesses—while still adhering to Chase's overall vision for the project. I oversaw the Barcelona and Amsterdam guides, for which I wrote brand-appropriate content, sourced images, assembled slideshows, and created annual event guides for the cities. The guides will be published on AFAR.com this summer.
